Administrative Coursework – Included in all courses
All our courses include training in sanitary shop practices, salon record keeping, public relations, retailing, cosmetic
chemistry, practical electricity, cosmetology laws, shop management, payroll and taxes.
Career Paths – Instructor Training – 600 class hours
Licensed professionals in either cosmetology or manicuring are eligible to enroll in the instructor training course. Learn
how to present a class, construct lesson plans, demonstrate styling, tutor students, write tests, evaluate both written and
practical skills. Special emphasis on learning problems, student motivation and teaching aids.
Class Schedules Stylemasters College is open
Monday through Friday. Both full-time and part-time attendance schedules are available. Typical schedules are: Mon-Fri
from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Other schedules can be arranged around work and child care considerations.
How Long Does Each Course Take? The schedule
you choose will determine how long you will be in school. Here are estimates: Cosmetology – 12 months full-time,
16 months part-time Manicuring – 4 months full-time, 6 months part-time Instructor Training – 4 months
full-time, 6 months part-time
When Can You Start School? Beginning classes
are scheduled each month, with day and night sessions available. You need first to meet with the college advisor, Sherri Booth.
She will help you determine eligibility for both the training and best payment methods.
